Susan Gidley was awarded the first ever Outstanding Service Provider Award from the Financial Executives International Chicago Chapter in February 2004 and received the award for the second year in a row in 2005.

GMG client Financial Executives International (FEI) Chicago Chapter was named Outstanding Large Chapter (from among 86 FEI Chapters) by FEI National for 2004,2005,2007,and placed second in 2010.

GMG was inducted into the NAWBO Chicago Hall of Fame on January 29, 2004 in recognition of their role in the continued growth and success of NAWBO Chicago.

GMG received the 2000 President's Award from the Federation of Women Contractors. This award recognizes outstanding contribution to the Federation, and is traditionally given to a volunteer member.

GMG was the recipient of the 1997 National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Chicago Area Chapter President's Award. This award is recognizes service "above and beyond the call of duty." This award is also traditionally given to a volunteer member.

After GMG took on the responsibility for new member recruitment, NAWBO Chicago Area Chapter was honored by NAWBO National Headquarters in 1999 for having the largest percentage of growth among its 80 chapters.
